Why might yeast leave you bloated and uncomfortable?

How to run a focused elimination

Is yeast intolerance the same as a yeast allergy?

If I’m yeast intolerant, does that mean I have Candida overgrowth?

Not necessarily, and they aren’t the same thing. Candida overgrowth is a clinical matter (usually after antibiotics or in people with weakened immunity) and is uncommon in otherwise healthy adults. Most bloating and gas blamed on ‘Candida’ is actually fermentation gas from carbs that haven’t been fully digested. Yeast sensitivity is a food intolerance, not an infection.
